In the summer of 2005, the artist caravan travelled thousands of kilometres mostly overland, from Europe to Morocco, through the West African countries of Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Togo, Benin and southwest to Namibia, via Zambia and Tanzania. The participating artists had individual projects in their luggage. The experiences on the way, the exchange and impressions inspired them to create paintings, photographs, installations, performative works, actions and musical productions.
